Liz (Hygienist)

Hi, I’m Liz, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Marpole View Dental team! Originally from Calgary, I earned my BSc in Dental Hygiene from the University of Alberta in 2006. I made the leap to beautiful BC in 2007 and have been happily working as a Registered Dental Hygienist ever since.

I’m all about helping patients achieve their best oral health and focusing on prevention and maintenance. My approach? Thorough and concise care delivered with a gentle touch. Building relationships with my patients and fostering a sense of community is what makes my job truly rewarding.

When I’m not at work, I’m busy being a wife and a mom to two little ones—one boy and one girl. My personal interests include exercising just enough to enjoy snacks guilt-free, indulging in skin care, and binge-watching K-dramas. Oh, and I’m a huge music fan! Of course, my favorite genre is K-pop but I love exploring all types. My Spotify account is always spinning, so feel free to request your favorite tunes. Fun fact: I have an ongoing streak in Duolingo learning Korean!

Helen (Assistant)

Hi everyone! I’m Helen, a Certified Dental Assistant at Marpole View Dental. I moved to Vancouver from Mainland China in 1999 and completed my CDA course at Vancouver Community College in 2004. Since then, I’ve been working at this office, building strong relationships with our patients and team. I’m passionate about healthcare and enjoy contributing to people’s well-being every day.

In my free time, I love cooking, gardening, and reading, which bring me joy and balance outside of work.

Rodah (Receptionist)

Hello everyone! My name is Rodah and I joined the Marpole View Dental team in April 2024. My family and I moved to Vancouver from Solomon Islands in 2006. I graduated from VCC’s Dental Reception program and have worked in this field since 2018. 

I am so grateful to work alongside such a wonderful team here at Marpole View Dental. It is also rewarding to connect with my patients and support you in any way I can.   

Outside from work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and my little pudgy boy Tom Tom the Corgi. I love to travel – you may catch me at the desk daydreaming about Hawaii.
